Dr. Anna Thomas, after completing her PhD from IIST Thiruvananthapuram, has been working as a managing partner of Leena's Mushroom Farms LLP since 2020. She primarily focuses on the management of the mushroom spawn laboratory. Leena's Mushroom Farms now has four units, each with a capacity of 5,000 beds, totaling 20,000 bags, and produces 120-150 kg of mushrooms per day. These mushrooms are sold under the brand name Leena's in retail shops in the Ernakulam and Kottayam districts. They produce mushroom spawns for their own use to ensure premium quality and also sell spawns to farms outside Kerala on a requirement basis.
